After the events of 's Mortal Kombat, Scorpion regains his human appearance while keeping his revenant powers. In the related comic book series, Scorpion shows that he is capable of transforming back into his revenant form if he chooses, but he rarely does so. Regardless of the appearance, every version of Scorpion has all of the things that make him a good Mortal Kombat character.
Whether he is human or revenant, he still has awesome moves, a dramatic backstory, and usually one of the best designs in the game. His personality and dialogue are always on point, and his status as an on-and-off villain make him morally ambiguous, and therefore flexible within the game's story. Players can play him as the tragic hero searching for the truth of behind his clan's destruction, or as a rage-fueled demon of hell, ready to burn anything that stands between him and his master's desires.
Growing up as the stereotypical gamer, Jonah absorbed everything he could about his favorite video games until adulthood came knocking. He decided to become a games journalist after his dad purchased a subscription to Gameinformer when he was 10 years old. Scorpion once again declared the vendetta over by the end of the game, but relations between the two would never again be quite so amicable as they had before. Of course, the two rivals had plenty of ways to kill each other in the meantime.
Given that MK4 was widely seen as one of the worst games in the series, proof that Mortal Kombat was in decline, etc. And when Deadly Alliance finally arrived, it was nothing less than a complete reinvention of the series. Where MK had always been fast, silly and over-the-top, the new game was bloodier, less jumping-friendly and had a slower, heavier feel to it. Few characters emphasized this newfound masculinity better than Sub-Zero. Appearance aside, this new Sub-Zero was just as overhauled as the rest of the game was.
Why does a Hellspawn have to wear one, too? Rain is royalty, everybody knows him. What does he have to hide? I doubt facial scars! As for Scorp, He is a Ninja Specter.
But doesn't act very ninja-like. Starting random fights and what not. Plus why hide your bare skull with a mask? Everybody knows that he is Undead. What is he hiding? I like both characters and all, but it just doesn't make sense! Please Comment your opinion. No negative ones please. Surge Surge. Anyways, No one really knew that Scorpion was actually undead in MK1 when it first came out until someone performed his fatality for the first time as well as read his bio and ending.
It makes perfect sense to hide a burning skull underneath a mask, even if it makes him look human. Seriously, if you were undead and had a burning skull, would you want it to show? Probably yes, knowing you by reading all of this, but still, perspective is key when you're looking in their point of view not yours.
I'm not so sure why you would want him to be unmasked. You're specifically saying he's a prince, okay Excluding Deadly Alliance. I'm not too sure why you would want Rain to be unmasked, but in this case, he's so far the one of the 2 playable ninjas we've had that hasn't been unmasked just yet, the other is Ermac.
It would be somewhat interesting to see what he really looks like underneath his purple mask, but so far, I doubt his identity will soon be revealed to the MK world just yet. Who killed Jade? Did Geras die in aftermath? Are Goro and Sheeva related? Did Raiden kill Frost? Why did Tobias leave midway? Why is noob saibot called noob?
Why is John Tobias? How was ermac created?
